This map provides links to the data from all the holes where scientific logging data were recorded and are currently stored in Lamont-Doherty's Borehole Research Group logging database (LogDB). Most of the data come from decades of Scientific Ocean Drilling (DSDP, ODP, IODP), onboard the JOIDES Resolution, Chikyu, or Mission Specific Platforms, but other scientific drilling projects are included that relied on downhole logs for their success.
One can also display all the sites drilled by DSDP/ODP/IODP (not all were logged) and access data from the cores recovered.
Hover on the layers icon () to select the drilling program(s) or special holes to display, or to change the base map (default is the GMRT global topography); click on a hole/site to display its name/cruise(s) and access the log or core data.
